NEWLYN FILMHOUSE OPENS
A conversion of a former fish processing plant to two cinemas, space limited and determined to get only the best, we worked with Alastair and Suzy for three years prior to breaking ground. THE CINEMAS ARE STUNNING ! Our systems include two screens of Barco 2k DLP projectors, 7.1 sound and control and monitoring systems toroughtout, allowing remote and unmanned operation as required.

The largest portfolio of D Cinema proejctors presents it's smallest family member - the DP2k6E. Super cost effective, the 6E comes complete with an Alchemy server, motorised lens and twin UHP lamps guaranteed for an industry leading 1500 hours. Low cost of operation and super simple set up makes this the ideal unit for smaller cinemas, alternative content venues and educational uses. Founded in 1995 and incorporated in 1997, Future Projections have grown from a business supplying and installing 35mm cinema gear to one of the UK's leading high-end AV and projection sources.
Future Projections are one of four UK based DCI certified D cinema installers and are factory trained and supported to sell Barco equipment as well as Dolby, Datasat and JBL sound (to name a few !). We operate with a great team who are customer focused and passionate about film exhibition and making sure you are getting the most from your venue. We represent THX in the UK and Ireland.
Since setting up business in 1997, Future Projections have specified, designed and installed more independent and art house cinemas than anyone else in the UK, including 90% of the Picture house chain.. Other clients include Working Title, Shetland Arts and NBC. We aim to have a collaborative rather than a more typical customer / supplier approach, and consider our works to be on the customer's behalf rather than a "sale".
Being UK based and with in-house CAD, design and both mechanical and electrical engineering facilities, we are well served to look after the venue - we have engineers based in London and Coventry and operate a 24/7 DIRECT service line to our engineering folk - no call centres here!
